Bringing makers together to share work-in-progress and grow through honest, collective feedback.

Wanderstories was founded in 2023 out of a gap many makers feel after art school: there are few places to show work-in-progress and receive honest, professional feedback once the structure of the academy falls away. What began as an informal gathering has grown into a recurring peer-to-peer event for photographers and visual storytellers, hosted at Fotodok in Utrecht.

Each edition brings together makers at different stages, from recent graduates and students in their final year to early-career photographers and self-taught image-makers. The sessions are small, free to attend, and built around close looking and open conversation, using a structured Round Table format adapted for photography.

Whether you come for fresh perspectives on your own project or to sharpen your eye by responding to others, Wanderstories is a place to connect, reflect, and grow together as a community.
